Family counselling is a resource that is offered to the entire family.

Each individual member of the family has a different perspective, way of relating and life experience within the family unit. Therefore, each family member is given the opportunity to share his/her perspective in a validating and non-threatening environment.

This process helps family members to appreciate the unique experiences and perspectives of each family member and how misunderstanding can trigger negative cycles of behavior.

Family members become better equipped to understand their own emotional, physical and spiritual needs and how these affect others and the family as a whole.

Family members learn how to set healthy personal boundaries, to communicate in a more effective and desired way while continuing to identify with the family as a whole.
