GREG DELONG, MC, CCC

(He/Him)

Greg is a person-centered counsellor and provides care that empowers people to take charge of their own lives. You will find an approach that respects client values, beliefs, preferences, culture, and needs. When working with Greg you will receive emotional support in a non-blaming, non-pathologizing environment.

Greg is a Certified Canadian Counsellor and holds a Master’s degree in Counselling. He uses narrative practices to draw out new meaning and the neglected aspects of his clients’ stories. Often people are overwhelmed and believe their problems define who they are. You are not the problem, at your core you are a caring, compassionate, and courageous person.

Greg’s approach draws on existing values and strengths to make space between the person and the problem. Greg is also informed by Internal Family Systems and mindfulness practices and has received advanced training in Internal Family Systems from IFSCA. By addressing the parts of your psyche that have taken on protective roles you can access your true self, experience love, acceptance, and understanding.

Greg works with adults and teens, and provides individual, couple, and family therapy. All beliefs and orientations are welcome.
