In today’s fast-paced world, it is common to feel lonely, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve us. Many people find themselves wanting to make a change, but aren’t sure how to make sense of their experiences or how to move forward.

I work from a relationship-focused, client-centred approach to counselling. This means that I see you as the expert in your experiences, and that our work together is collaborative, and shaped by your goals, values, and what feels most important to you.

I bring authenticity, curiosity, and, when helpful, therapeutic challenge to my work. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore, process, and move toward the shifts needed to find your own sense of wellbeing. I consider it an honour to work alongside the courageous folks who choose to begin this journey.

Experience:

I am a counsellor and a graduate of Yorkville University, holding a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, trauma experiences, addiction, and borderline personality disorder. In previous roles, I have worked extensively with neurodivergent youth and adults. I have completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Direct Neurofeedback (DNF) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).


Client Focus and Practice:

I currently work with individuals (youth and adults), and I am in the process of training to work with couples. As a second-language French speaker, I’m happy to offer counselling in French.

Types of therapy:

 I primarily use EMDR, EFIT, and compassion-focused modalities. I also have experience with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and CBT.

Challenges:

Anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and attachment injuries.

More than just my work:

Outside of my counselling work, I enjoy gardening, running in the forest, and reading. Time in nature and with books helps me stay grounded and curious.
